Dave Kittey. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dave Kittey, long-time public relations director and announcer of Dog Hollow Speedway. Known for his racing knowledge and ability to disseminate racing news to the racing community. Dave will be sorely missed, RFR Motorsports owner Kyle Smith announced today.

Behind the scenes, Dave’s knowledge and skills played a big part in the reopening of Dog Hollow Speedway. He was a key component of the management team helping out RFR Motorsports owners Mark McClelland and Kyle Smith, conducting many of the day-to-day management calls, and was instrumental with the naming of the Hustle at the Hollow scheduled for September 15-16-17.

Not only did Dave work at Dog Hollow Speedway, but Dave was also the owner of Kittey’s Cookies and Pizzelies and formally the owner of RPM Racing News. “We are scheduled to race Friday night, our final weekly night, and thought about canceling, but we knew Dave would not like that,” Kyle stated. So we are racing, and we will be celebrating Dave’s life with his racing family.
