Dog Hollow Speedway Welcomes Back the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Models for Three Shows in 2022

STRONGSTOWN, PA (January 30, 2022) – The 2022 schedule continues to come together and with that, we are glad to welcome back the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series for three shows this season.

Their first appearance will be Friday, April 22. The event will pay $3500 to win for one fortunate Super Late Model driver. The next night will find them at the Sharon Speedway making for an exciting two-day weekend.

The ULMS will return for a doubleheader weekend at Dog Hollow on September 16 & 17 for the 2nd Annual Tom Smith Memorial during our Fall Classic Weekend. Night one will see the ULMS feature paying $4000 to the winner while the second night will pay a hefty $6000. One driver could possibly go home with $10,000 for the weekend. Other divisions running that weekend are still being determined and will be announced later.

The ULMS Late Models have made a total of seven appearances at Dog Hollow Speedway. Kyle Hardy and Max Blair each have two wins while Sam Stile, Alex Ferree, and Michael Lake have one each. The ULMS have averaged 28 cars for their seven races at Dog Hollow.

July 22, 2012, saw the first appearance for the ULMS and it was a Dog Hollow regular, Sam Stile taking the checkered flag in the second running of the Connor Bobik Memorial. It was five years later, September 3, 2017, when Alex Ferree came home the winner in the 7th running of the Connor Bobik Memorial. In 2018 the ULMS made three visits with Max Blair, Michael Lake, and Kyle Hardy claiming checkers. Blair came back in 2019 to win his second ULMS at Dog and last year Kyle Hardy won for the second time.

Will one of these drivers repeat in 2022 or will it be three new winners? Stile is no longer driving, and Blair runs with the World of Outlaws. Can’t wait to find out.
