Four Hard Charger Awards for Dog Hollow Speedway This Saturday; Time Trials for the Super Late Models

STRONGSTOWN, PA (May 19, 2022) – Dog Hollow Speedway has picked up not one, but four hard charger awards for this weekend’s big races. Each division now has a sponsor for an extra $100 to the driver who passes the most cars during the A-Main.

Matt Fulton, of Contender Chassis, has stepped up to give one lucky Schaeffer’s Oil Products Pure Stock driver a $100 bonus for being the Hard Charger. Matt has also put up $50 for our Bill Sigofoes Memorial on July 22. Contender Chassis won right out of the box this past Friday when driver John Eckenrod put the house car in victory lane on opening night.

The Subway of Clearfield Super Late Models will see RFR Motorsports donating $100 to the Hard Charger in the $3000 to win the event.

Ontime Body & Graphics of Stoystown, has also come forward with another $100 Hard Charger Award. This award will go to the Hard Charger in the RUSH Wingless Sprint Car portion of Saturday’s card. This growing class made two successful stops at Dog Hollow last season and we are looking forward to their first of two appearances this week.

Not to stop there, another one of our track sponsors has come on board for the Shirley Southern Memorial for the Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinders. JHI of Johnstown will put up another $100 for the 4 Cylinder Hard Charger. These guys are running for the biggest winners share ever at Dog Hollow. $700 is the first place prize.

There will also be time trials for the Super Late Models on Saturday. All divisions will get Hot Laps before the Time Trials take place. We will then go right into heat race action after.

Pits open at 4:00 PM, grandstands at 6:00 PM, Hot Laps at 7:00 PM Time Trials at 7:15 PM, and Racing at 7:30 PM.
