Hustle at the Hollow Will Be Biggest and Richest Event in Dog Hollow Speedway History
STRONGSTOWN, PA (July 23, 2022) – Dog Hollow Speedway’s Inaugural Hustle @ the Hollow will be the richest event in the track’s 20-plus-year history. A plethora of divisions will be on hand and split up between Friday, September 16, and Saturday, September 17.
Promoters Mark McClellan and Kyle Smith have announced that the $100,000 Hustle @ the Hollow will feature two major races.
Friday will see the 410 Sprint Cars trying to Hustle the Hollow for a $5000 winner’s check. Drivers told us they wanted to see more sprint races at Dog Hollow Speedway, and Friday is an open date locally. The 410 pilots put on a whale of a show on their last visit, and we can’t wait for their return.
The ULMS Super Late Models will warm up on Friday, September 16, with a $2000 to win show in the 2nd Annual Burns Brothers Memorial before they take the spotlight on Saturday, September 17. Saturday will see the ULMS Super Lates wheel and deal for the richest purse in Dog Hollow history. The 2nd Annual Tom Smith Memorial ULMS Super Late Model race, presented by Memorial Highway Chevrolet, will pay the winner a record high $10,000 to win. The previous high was on July 24, 2011, when Kentucky driver Darrell Lanigan won $8775 in a WoO Late Model race. That total included contingency awards also.
Details are being worked on for divisions, purses, events, and camping. An announcement with all the info will be coming out soon. Townsend Gas & Oil RUSH Late Models, RUSH Wingless Sprints, 358 Limited Late Models, Schaeffer’s Oil RUSH Stock Cars/Pure Stocks, Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinders, Modified 4 Cylinders, and Pro Stocks are the divisions that will stack the deck that weekend.
Make sure you put Friday, September 16, and Saturday, September 17, on your schedule. It’s not just a race but an event with music, games, and more. Come camp out and have fun at the improved Dog Hollow Speedway.
