STRONGSTOWN, PA (March 19, 2022) – The 2022 Season is less than a few weeks away for Dog Hollow Speedway. Fans will notice plenty of exciting special events throughout the schedule. No less than ten events in eleven nights as promoters Kyle Smith and Mark McClellan are bringing back the excitement to Dog Hollow Speedway.

The ULMS Super Late Models will sanction three of our four scheduled specials for the Super Lates. Memorial Highway Chevrolet will be the presenting sponsor for the ULMS events with the first event scheduled for Friday, April 23 with a $3500-to-win event.

The ULMS Super Lates Models will return on September 16th & 17th for the Memorial Highway Hustle @ the Hollow. A big doubleheader weekend will see the Late Models paying $4000 to win on Friday night for the 2nd Annual Burns Brothers Memorial. Then on Saturday night for the 2nd Annual Tom Smith Memorial the winner will be taking home $6000 for their efforts. This is the highest paying race of the season at Dog Hollow Speedway and one driver could take home $10,000 for their efforts.

Our final Super Late Special takes place the following week on Sunday, September 25th which will cap off a three-race weekend. Dog Hollow Speedway will be teaming with Thunder Mountain and Marion Center Speedway with each race paying $5000 to the winner. One driver could go home with $15,000.

Three different types of open-wheel Sprint cars will be making a visit to Dog Hollow this year. The 410 Wing Sprints return Friday, July 8, to the 3/8 mile oval for the first time since 2017 when Jack Sodeman Jr. won. It will be a $26,000 purse with the winner taking home $3000.

On July 1 the RUSH Late Model Tour makes a trip to Dog House with a $3000 to win show. Last year we had five states on hand for this event and look to have a big field again.

The Pure Stocks will have a big event to honor the late Bill Sigafoes. Bill and John Mazey are tied as all-time leading feature winners in the class. The race pays the winner $670.

Look for the PA Thunder on dirt Vintage Modifieds at Dog Hollow on July 29. These vintage cars always put on a good show.

June 3 is the Karen Condon Memorial for all classes. It is our Mid-Season Championship night and will include Autograph Night for the fans.

Last but not least, Friday, August 12 is Fireworks night. Last year’s fireworks were a great show and as will be this year’s show.

Just like last year, purse money for all classes is paid out, as soon as tech is completed, in the pit shack.

There are a lot of other specials for the weekly classes paying extra money as a big season is being planned for the Strongstown oval. Check out our schedule page or our Facebook page.
